TRAINING SCHOOL 1 – FUNDAMENTALS AND WEARABLES

We are happy to announce our first SOFTWEAR Training school at Cergy, France!

 

The training school will be open to both, participants of SOFTWEAR project as well as all interested students and researchers. Join us to learn about soft actuator technology including ionic, dielectric and phase-change actuators, the state-of-the-art of wearables and the relationship between technology progress in smart materials science and textile/fashion design.

Venue

The training school will be held in the La Turbine building of CY Paris Cergy University near the Cergy Port. Port Cergy is a contemporary creation using traditional and regional architectural references: old-fashioned roofs, slates, skylights, balconies,… A district that is both tourist and residential, its architecture and its animation of a truly original seaside atmosphere in Île-de-France.

Registration fee: 180€ for non-SOFTWEAR participants (for lunch, coffee, gala dinner. The lectures are free.)

Flight to Paris-CDG airport
