Training School 2 – Textile Technology
We are happy to announce our second SOFTWEAR Training School at the University of Borås, Sweden!
The training school will be open to both, participants of SOFTWEAR project as well as all interested students and researchers.
Join us to learn about soft wearables and the relationship between technology progress in smart materials, science and textile/fashion design. Focus will be on the major textile processes; weaving, knitting, dying, coating and assembling. One day will be devoted to industrial aspects with a visit to the company Albany in Halmstad.

Venue
The training school will be held at The Swedish School of Textiles (Textilhögskolan), Borås, in the building called Textile Fashion Center. Address: Skaraborgsvägen 3A.

Registration Fee
Registration fee: 190€ for non-SOFTWEAR project participants for lunch, coffee and dinner. The study visit at Albany and the lectures are free.

Flight to Göteborg-Landvetter airport. About 45 km to Borås and takes about 30–40 minutes, by bus or taxi. (Unfortunately, the shuttlebus between Borås and Landvetter airport is currently canceled).
You can instead go by bus or taxi:
VY Bus4you: Goes from Landvetter Airport to Borås Resecentrum, Bus stop P (takes about 35 minutes, costs about 8€)
From Borås Resecentrum it is about 10 minutes walk to The Swedish School of Textiles (Skaraborgsvägen 3A) and 5–10 minutes to the hotels.
